"Ryan Nelson has made his mark as one of the best deep powder riders in the snowmobile industry.  His segments in Boondockers and Elevation films showcase an incredibly fluid riding style in some of the most epic conditions ever caught on film.  Watching Ryan ride is truly beautiful, his incredible blend of rythm and grace etch the untouched snow like a painter's strokes.
Obviously a skier in his early days, Ryan rides with his toes and rarely makes mistakes.  It doesn't hurt that he lives along the Wasatch Front in Utah, just minutes away from some of the greatest snow on earth.  While powder is his specialty, he is no stranger to big drops and jumps."  -Sledheads

After five years of Boondockers you might say we’re lucky to be alive, and I’m not talking about the crashes and wrecks. Just like you, we’ve been enjoying every minute of every day. Riding till your heart screams, digging till your lungs burn, and pushing endurance to its limit, I guess you could say we’ve all been living in dog years. Through our adventures ‘Boondocking’ has come to mean more than just mind-numbing powder days, adrenaline-pumping drops, or death-defying climbs—it’s become a lifestyle of hard work in the off season, epic riding, and even better friends.

This past season it started snowing in December and didn’t stop. You know it’s deep when using a snorkel to breathe ceases to be an expression. Yes, powder riding takes on a whole new meaning when you could be getting better gas mileage in your boat. Besides ridiculous powder carving, all of this snow also set the stage for some of the biggest drops and backcountry gap jumps caught on film. Join us for an endless winter of deep powder days, unforgettable stories, and never-ending spring riding. Lucky to be alive?—thank God we’re alive is more like it!
